Lester and Harris factory Netball Team

Lester and Harris factory Netball Team

Mike Burdett has sent me this photo of his mother in a photo of the Lester and Harris factory Netball Team from 60 plus years ago, and it will be great to hear from anyone who can provide any information about the team or other players. Mike's mother was Doreen Burdett, nee Taylor, and she is on the back row on the right. She wrote on the back of the photograph "Lester and Harris Team 1951+".

Mike adds;
She also ran for the Godiva Harriers before this, but I don't know much more than that. In later years she ran the Morris Engines Netball Team at the Courthouse Green site.

As always, please contact me if you recognise anyone or have more details about this factory netball team.
